The following are the beliefs of Eddyville Assembly of God based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines. We are an Assembly of God USA church and follow the 16 Fundamental Truths which we hold evident as Biblical truths.
Core Values
At Eddyville Assembly of God, we believe our Core Values define who we are, based on our beliefs, and show the culture and personality of our church.
We Love to Worship
We love to worship. Yes, that includes Sunday morning and to music. Yes, we raise our hands, clap, maybe dance, and wave flags. But, it goes so much deeper and beyond that. Worship is about everyday life and honoring God, not just Sundays.
We Love the Word of God
Yes, that would be the Bible. It is more than hearing it preached and taught. It is discussing it, digging deeper into the Word and what it means in our life, whether we are alone or in a group.. We want to grow, and that comes through study.
We Love One Another
At EAG, we understand that there is a whole lot more to life that Sunday morning, and that there is more to this life than us. Therefore we love having relationships with others. We are family, not just in our church, but in the Kingdom of God.
We Love Our Community
I mean, who does not love to live at the lake? But honestly, we love being a part of the Eddyville and Lyon County community and beyond. It is truly a great place to call home. Beautiful lakes and beautiful people. Why would we not want to be a part of that, and share the BEST news that is only found through Jesus with them?
